OUR JOURNEY.

When Bo, Niklas, and Rasmus met, they had three things in common...

They all called Denmark home, all enjoyed swimming, and none of them had found a single pair of swimming goggles they liked. Bo had experience in software development, Niklas was a professional swimmer for the Danish National team, and Rasmus had startup experience and an eye for branding. Together they set out to make a made-to-measure swimming goggle. With help from Sonnichsen design the first goggle was developed.

2016

OUR JOURNEY.

Kickstarter success. Our 5% difference led us to be in the top 1% of all businesses.

With the confidence built from the 2017 Kickstarter, in 2018 Bo, Niklas and Rasmus moved THEMAGIC5 HQ to Charlotte, North Carolina. The Kickstarter backers immediately represented THEMAGIC5s demographic: recreational, competitive, masters swimmers, and triathletes. 6 months later, and the team had fulfilled over 2,000 orders to more than 50 countries.

2017 / 2018

OUR JOURNEY.

THEMAGIC5 was awarded one of the most innovative sports products at ISPO.

ISPO, the world’s biggest sports fair, praised THEMAGIC5 as one of the most innovative sports products to hit the market in 2018. This was a huge milestone for THEMAGIC5 and added to the existing media publications in; The Today Show, Men’s Health, Women’s Health etc.

2018 / 2019

OUR JOURNEY.

FINA Approval

FINA, the International Governing Body of Swimming, approved all THEMAGIC5 goggles as suitable for competition. As our community ranges from recreational swimmer to Olympian, this was a massive step for THEMAGIC5. We even had three athletes compete in the goggles in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

2019 / 2020

Two of the world’s best athletes join THEMAGIC5 as investors.

We have recently added two of the greatest athletes of all time not only as sponsored athletes, but as investors to THEMAGIC5. Jan Frodeno and Matt Grevers contribute their knowledge of the sport and passion for perfection to the team, and have already added so much value to THEMAGIC5 brand.

If you hadn't seen, in October '21 we made a $1.000.000 deal with Mark Cuban and Robert Herjavec on Season 13 Episode 4 of ABC's Shark Tank.
